They do not offer the very fine control that gas hobs offer but the electric hobs are still great and have burners of varying sizes so that you can use the hob efficiently. The electric hobs on this page are built-in and therefore need fitting into your kitchen but once this is done they will look superb and much better than a hob on a freestanding electric cooker.
There are a few things to look for when you buy an electric hob. Firstly some are ceramic and with the ceramic hobs you can clean them very easily and they look much nicer too. Then there are electric hobs with a halogen zone which offer almost instant heat which makes them as quick as a gas hob.
